The whole unit is built from 1/4" and 1/2" MDF (medium density fiberboard) Everything was glued and clamped with high strength wood glue. The door handle is a recessed kitchen cupboard handle.

Just some green modelers paint applied to the top edge and let it run to look realistic.

Thanks for the compliments! Yes ,the shipping is outrageous for items like this. Not because of weight but the size of the box, shipping ended up being $55 CDN to Florida! ouch
